Gillian Schoemaker - Therapeutic Eurythmy

Gillian grew up in Scotland. She has been active within the Camphill Movement for many years, and completed her Eurythmy training at the Camphill Ringwood/Botton School. The Waldorf Teacher training Program for eurythmists at Emerson college, UK, and the Therapeutic Eurythmy Training at Peredur Arts Center, UK, followed. From 1988 to 1996, she was a teacher, therapist and performer at the Camphill Rudolf Steiner Schools, Scotland. In 1997, she joined The Camphill School in Glenmoore, PA, where she is a eurythmy teacher, therapist and mentor. She also teaches at the Camphill Academy Training Course in Curative Education. Gillian has been engaged since 1997 with Anthroposophical Psychosophy trainings and currently is part of the Association for Anthroposophic Psychology (AAP) as adjunct faculty, bringing eurythmy as an integral part of the coursework. She is also Adjunct Faculty in the therapeutic Eurythmy Training in North America (TETNA) and teaches eurythmy annually at the Summer School of the Philosophy Department of the University of Athens, Greece.
